Map colouring and hazard overlays

What the ward colouring, the hazard map tiles and the station circles on the map each show.

Overview

The map changes with the selected tab.

Ward colouring

Wards are coloured by average land price on the 「地価」 tab, by population density on the 「人口」 tab, and by the ward's highest risk level on the 「災害」 tab. The values used for colouring are fixed reference values per ward, not real data. The legend reads 「塗り分け: 固定の参考値 — 実データではありません」. On the 「交通」 and 「用途地域」 tabs, wards are not coloured. Pointing at a ward shows its name with 「人口」, 「密度」 and 「地価」. Those values are the same fixed reference values as the colouring.

Hazard map overlay

On the 「災害」 tab, three kinds of tiles are laid over the map: assumed flood inundation areas (maximum scale), assumed tsunami inundation, and debris-flow landslide warning areas. The browser loads the tiles directly from 「ハザードマップポータルサイト(国土交通省)」. The legend reads 「ハザードマップ(実データ)」.

Station circles

On the 「交通」 tab, stations are drawn as circles sized by ridership. Stations whose ridership is 「データなし」 are not drawn on the map. Pointing at a station circle shows the station name and its ridership per day.
